Girls Night Out / Slumber Party

Some how the women convinced the men to take care of the children for one night while they got a night to themselves. They started out with a dinner at Kobe Japenese Steakhouse, refined their "Demi Moore" skills from the movie Ghost at the Mad Potters, and then back to the Holbrook's for a "girl's only" slumber party.

Prayer Request

As most of you know I am in East Texas babysitting for friends, Kim and Dale, while they are on a business trip in the Bahamas. I am also working at the office doing insurance and other stuff for they so that they don't get behind while they are gone. I get an occasional text from them just to see how things are going. Today when I was texting with them I found out that Kim just found out that her mom has ovarian cancer. It has already spread, so it is serious. They are supposed to try and get her to Scott & White as soon as they can. (I am not sure what that is but I assume it is some type of cancer facility) Kim is very close with her mom so I am sure that she is taking it very hard. I told them that Ruthie and I would pray for them and I asked if it would be OK for us to tell our Snamor group about it so that we all could pray for both Kim and her mom. They said that that would be greatly appreciated. Her mom's name is Helen.

Speaking of Scavenger Hunt???

Ok I need some opinions....Do we want to do Random teams or Boys vs. Girls

I also need to know who's coming for sure.

I'd like to get a little booty of prizes going and want to see what you guys and gals thought about eveyone putting in $10 per couple for the cause just to make it more rewarding.

For those that actually get through the hunt. Also any Ideas that you have for the hunt send them to me, otherwise I'll just use my own twisted sence of humor!! I'll e-mail all this out too.....See you tomorrow!!!

Scavenger Hunt Social

Here are the details:

Saturday night the church is having a free DATE NIGHT! whoo hoo!

Drop your kiddos off at 6pm - they'll feed them pizza and entertain them until 11pm!

We will head out for dinner (suggestions needed - keep in mind it is Valentine's Day!) and then break up into randomly selected teams for a scavenger hunt. Brad is taking on the task of the scavenger hunt, so if you have questions or suggestions on that, get a hold of him.

We will chill and hang out until we have to pick up our little ones!
